About PressCatToStart
PressCatToStart is a friendly PC gaming blog by Yosh — real guides, honest opinions, and zero corporate fluff. Plus occasional cat energy from Nando. 😺
What we publish
We write in-depth articles for PC gamers who want practical help and genuine recommendations:
- Game guides & fixes — troubleshooting errors, performance tips, and setup tutorials (always for legit copies you own)
- Reviews & analysis — honest takes on upcoming and current PC games
- Best-of lists — curated picks with official store links, specs, and real context (co-op games, horror, RPGs, and more)
- Industry & trends — AI in gaming, cross-play, graphics, and what matters to players in 2026
Who is Yosh?
Hey, beautiful people — Yosh here. 👋 I'm a PC gamer who got tired of thin, copy-paste "fix" posts that waste your time. I started PressCatToStart to share what actually works: clear steps, fair opinions, and enough depth that you feel confident before you click download or change a setting.
When I'm not writing, you'll find me testing games on Windows, comparing store pages, and getting interrupted by my cat Nando walking across the keyboard. You've got this — and you're in the right place. ✌
How we work (update cadence)
PressCatToStart is an active publication. New guides, lists, and news explainers are published regularly — typically several times a month — and older articles are revised when steps, store links, or Windows behavior change. If something on a page is outdated, use the Contact form and I'll take a look.
- Fresh posts: seasonal lists, news with PC context, and troubleshooting that still works in 2026
- Revisions: we update high-traffic fix posts when Microsoft, Steam, or publishers change the safe path
- Sources: official docs, store pages, and hands-on checks whenever possible
Editorial standards
Every article aims to:
- Solve a real search intent (not keyword stuffing)
- Link to official sources — Steam, Epic, publisher pages — when we mention games
- Stay policy-safe — we do not promote piracy, cracks, or bypassing platform limits
- Sound human — because gamers deserve better than robot text
- Include enough depth — steps, what not to do, and context so you are not left guessing
What we will not publish
- Cracks, keygens, or "free premium" shortcuts
- Guides that tell you to bypass another person's download limits or ToS
- Copied articles from other sites with a new title slapped on
