How to Fix Assassin's Creed Origins Error (Won't Start and Closes) 😺
Hello awesome people! 👋 Yosh here. I hope you're doing great today. If Assassin's Creed Origins shows the splash screen but then closes and never actually starts, you're in the right place. I'll give you two solutions that work for many players: one for Nvidia and one for AMD graphics. Even Nando approves. 😼
What happens: you open the game, the splash screen appears, and then it just closes—the game doesn't load. You've got this; try the steps below for your GPU. 👍
Solution 1: Nvidia – Disable Anti-Aliasing in Control Panel
Right-click on your desktop and open Nvidia Control Panel (or search for it in Windows). Go to Manage 3D settings. Find Anti-Aliasing and set it to Off. Click Apply, close the panel, and start the game again. For many Nvidia users this fixes the crash and the game launches normally. Easy and fast! ✨
Solution 2: AMD – Radeon Settings (Anti-Aliasing & Texture Filtering)
Right-click on your desktop and open AMD Radeon Settings. Go to Gaming → Global Settings (or Global Graphics). Disable Anti-Aliasing or set it to Use application settings. Set Texture filtering to Standard. Apply and close. Start the game again—it should launch normally. 😺
If It Still Doesn't Start
Try these official steps: verify game files in Steam or Ubisoft Connect (repair/reinstall if needed), update your GPU drivers to the latest version, and run the game as administrator (right-click the .exe → Run as administrator). Sometimes the game starts in windowed mode due to compatibility—that’s normal and it still works. 🎮
That's It! 🐱
I hope this helped you. Subscribe, leave a like, and comment below if it worked. Have an excellent day—see you next time, MIAU! ✌😺
