Detroit: Become Human – Fix Invalid Graphics / Vulkan Error on PC 😺
Hello beautiful people! 👋 Yosh here. If Detroit: Become Human shows invalid graphics or Vulkan 1.1 (no suitable graphics card / drivers need updating), you're in the right place. Updating your GPU drivers and running the game as administrator usually fixes it. Nando is judging from the couch—approvingly. 😼
Step 1 – Update Your Graphics Drivers
Option A – Device Manager: Press Win + X → Device Manager. Expand Display adapters, right‑click your GPU → Update driver → Search automatically for drivers. Install if found.
Option B – NVIDIA / AMD: Open GeForce Experience (NVIDIA) or AMD Software. Go to Drivers and install the latest version. Or download the driver from NVIDIA or AMD. Restart the PC after installing.
Step 2 – Run the Game as Administrator
Right‑click the game’s .exe (or its shortcut) → Run as administrator. Accept the UAC prompt. The first launch may install or compile shaders for several minutes (often 10–20, sometimes up to an hour)—let it finish before playing.
